Yesterday my mechanic assembled the 748R engine I purchased from you. He also performed a small test in the bench and every thing looks great.
But there is a small matter. The rev counter is now showing double rpms. Do you have any tips?

Mittlerweile bewege ich meinen Kämna-Motor seit 2003 auf Straße und Rennstrecke ohne irgendwelche mechanische Probleme! Hut ab! Ich bin absolut zufrieden!!!

The president of the Portuguese Ducati owners club highly recommend you guys to me!
I have a beautiful yellow Ducati 748 biposto with a blown engine...
What options do I have?
My frame is from the end of 1999, do you think it´s possible to put the 748R engine in this frame? I read lots of people saying that isn´t possible, because of the different air-box, with others saying that if the original one (from the 748 biposto) is used we don´t have problems...
What do you think?
By the way, the 996 S engines that you also have could be fit more easy and without major problems?
And just one more thing... If I send to you my blown engine, how much do you think you could offer in exchange with one of yours?

- Mech: "Norden? Das kann nur Kämna sein! Dann ist es ok! Wenn der was verkauft, dann hat er es gecheckt. Kannst von ausgehen dass der Motor
tipp topp revidiert und geprüft ist. Ist zwar immer noch kein Schnäppchen, aber wo Kämna draufsteht ist auch Qualität drin!"
Tja, was soll ich sagen, in den 25 Jahren wo ich mit Ducati zu tun habe, habe ich fast alle Beteiligten schon kennengelernt und so einiges erlebt. Aber dass ein Händler einen anderen Händler dermaßen lobt, dass ist echt was ganz Neues :-) Respekt !

Comment to engine Tuning Aprilia RSV .
I think the bike will be a lot quicker but last weekend it had about the
same top speed as it did as a standard bike because of the slipping clutch.
I get the feeling that when I can get the power to the rear wheel its going
to be awesome & maybe too powerful for my abilities . On the dyno it almost
made 150bhp with a slipping clutch. What is it going to make when I have
fixed it ?????? I am very pleased with the results !!!

Thanks,all runs really fine !!sice 2 years!! VeeTwo doesn't seem to reply so I'll check the sizes and order from
you tomorrow. The dyno chart I sent before was done in 3rd gear so it needs
to be adjusted by 0.97/1.33. 77nm and 88rwhp(rear wheel HP,87 Din Nm ,and 98 DIN HP !!!) is the result. It has a nice
flat torque curve. Since then, I've changed to a 6 speed gearset, light
alternator, slipper clutch, 1098 brakes, RS Ohlins forks, ETI Kevlar tank,
and Sharkskinz fairing. I'll visit in the summer for a few details because
you are professional.

Hallo Rüdiger,
gefühlt könnte es sein, daß der Ofen unten rum nicht ganz so brutal an der Kette zieht wie vorher, aber früher war vor allem deutlich spürbar, wie dem Motor ab 7000 die Puste ausgeht, daher mußte ich bei spätestens 7500 schalten. Nun kann ich bis zum Begrenzer (8700 ?) jubeln und habe immer Leistung parat. Man merkt aber auch, daß die Leistung da nicht mehr zunimmt. Ich schalte mittlerweile bei 8000, wenn nicht der nächste Bremspunkt naht. Alles in allem sehr breitbandig. Eine Idee mehr oben raus wäre immer schön ich würde es aber nicht dem Bums von unten opfern wollen.
Also: Kunde zufrieden !

Good morning Ruddy,
The week-end was long but fantastic. Everything started Thursday. In order to get a place, we started to install the paddock, tents and the whole shebang.
Friday : 9;00AM the bike is ready, weather is changing from rain to sun. We decide to change tires Dunlop racing 150/70*18 for Avon Racing 150/70*18. The last one is less performing on dry track, but better on rain. It doesn't rain, but the track is wet. After the 15 minutes training (19:00H) with a 6th place, the bracket 35 was too long.
Saturday :
Remove the bracket for a 36, the qualifying session start at 2:00H. Weather was quite better, sunny and windy. Result 5th place.
Sunday :
First heat on 13:00H, result 4th I decide to change for another bracket 37, and modify the suspensions settings.
Second heat, fighting for 2nd place against a BSA Rocket 1100 from Austria. The first Rocket from UK untouchable (1300cc).
We are really happy as the DucKämna can follow the BMW 1200 full stage and the Guzzi Moto Bel 1200.
After the 2 races, don’t you thing it will make sense to come back for a control.
Also this may be the time to discuss what or when to work for the endurance bike. (a Bevel or a TT with a 944 engine)

Dann nochmal danke für den lockern Ablauf der ganzen Geschichte !
Der neue Motor von euch geht zwischen 3000 und 5000 rpm noch ein Stück besser als der alte !! ist zumindest ein kleiner Trost...
Ich werde demnächst (1000 km) mal das Öl wechseln lassen und dann die normalen Wartungsintervalle einhalten, ich denke, das ist so ok, oder?

I´m Gonçalo Matos from Portugal. I buy you one 916 engine in the end of last year.
My bike is still running very well thanks to your advices to me and of course, the very good engine assembly that you do.
Now I need advice about brake pads.
I´m using the bike for weekend journeys in the mountains, go for coffee in the beach (passing in some curves of course) and my last joy... track school and track days!
But you quote many brake pads in your site.
SRQ? CRQ? SV?
Witch are the ones for the 748 year´00 calipers and what differences do they have?
Of course your advice is also VERY important! As usual.

ich denke mal Ihr habt an der richtigen Stelle an meiner Monster rumgeschraubt !
Die Gasannahme,die Fahrcharakteristik ist einfach nur geil.
Mit den Dunlop´s bin ich Fahrwerkstechnisch noch nicht ganz zurechtgekommen.
Ich habe meine 7 Runden Rennzeit von damals 1000 ccm ( 95 Ps Hinterradleistung ) in Brünn
um 32 sek. !!! gesteigert.
Im Kurvenausgang war ich wegen dem fetten Drehmoment noch einwenig verhalten.( Lausitz
2008 Highsider !)
Ich denke das ich noch eine Menge Potential und Spaß mit Deinem Umbau habe .

Ein Jahr ist es nun schon her, das dein Motor in meiner 998 Arbeitet. Bin sehr zufrieden damit!
Ich habe noch eine RSV Mille Bj. 2000, (Fahrgestellnummer ist nicht vorhanden !?! J)die nur auf der Strecke im Einsatz ist. Dafür brauche ich ein paar Teile und deinen Rat.

Mein schätzken läuft immer noch topp,
hat ordentlich wumms bei 4-5l auf 100, was will man mehr!!
Bei der letzten großen Schweiztour sind mir am letzten Tag die Anlasserkohlen ausgegangen,
sonst überhaupt keine Problems.
Hab mich sehr über die Fotos in deiner Galerie gefreut.
Hast ja noch ein gutes Auge, man man man den fehlenden Alustopfen sofort entdeckt.
Das nennt man Super Service, und nochmals danke für die Ersatzstopfen!!!!!

das kein irrtum entsteht, motor bestückt mit hc-kolben pistal, preformance racing nocken, kopfbearbeitung 47-41 deinerseits und termignoni racing 2-1 auspuff. mit 101 ps am hinterrad mit original airbox und k&n filter, nach airbox umbau(auf euren Pure Tec Race Filter) dann 108 hinterrad ps und bis zu 11 nm mehr!

Hallo,
Hab ihn gerade ausgepackt. ;-P geil!
Kann mann die Antriebswelle für den Drehzahlmesser entfernen? Ich hab nämlich einen elektronischen und möchte nicht dass da was schief geht.
Sonst bin ich sehr zufrieden. Optik ist ok ich werde ihn eh schwarz lackieren. Ich hoff er läuft gut.
Den ausgefüllten Fragebogen sende ich euch natürlich gerne zu.
