Kämna 999 V2 Testa 1078/1114/1205 ccm
This is a project bike, made from Durbahn bodyworks and Kämna technics. This is our first season with it and will be changed in several details which we will tets along this year. We ride it in the german Sound Of Thunder championship by Art Motor. Our drivers are Nicolai Sörensen from denmark and Christian Willmann from germany. We used it four times till now and earned three victorys. At this moment (14.7.2006) we lead this contest. Many thanks to our drivers!
The potenzial of this motorcycle is tremendously!
all parts can be ordered from us. You can get a complete bike from us but also all parts as a kit. We finished two of this bikes. The other owns Heiner Jäger/germany. We produce this bike on customers request. The price depends on the equipment details.
As starting base a 749/999/S/R or parts of it can be used. With a 999 S engine this bike costs approx. 20000 €. We used good and proofed second hand parts. To the top there are naturally no limits! 999 R engine with tuning, 16.5" or 17" wheels, radial brake calipers, Öhlins suspension parts and so on; all is possible. Please contact us if you are interessted.
Here some details from our house racing bike:
Conception and bodywork by Thorsten Durbahn, airbox is much larger, the fuel tank is only a dummy and at the same time the airbox cover. The airbox intake, fairing and instrument support is only one part. The rear seat is self supporting and screwed without the original rear frame. The fuel tank is placed on the left side and the water cooler on the right with an exhaust into the side fairing. The exhaust is placed under the engine. We use a M16 computer and wiring harness for the perfect set up. The rear frame and/or the rear damper admission is made from cnc milled aluminium plates and screwed to the main chassis. The steering head is minimized for maximum air flow. Suspension parts are from Öhlins.
