Actuall garage impressions: 749 R tuning
The shown 749 R belongs to our danish friends Jens and Jörgen from JSB Racing/Denmark. We mounted a complete Akrapovic system and an KLS quick shifter and adjusted all on our dyno stand. Further the original Öhlins fork was modifyed with a step 3 Race set up.
This vehicle is conceived and optimized for the pure sport employment. We modified a 999 Akrapovic exhaust system so that it optimal harmonizes with the engine run.
The engine character becomes stronger over the entire range. The tuning was accomplished with a Power Commander. An increase in output of 5 HP over the entire range and 6-8 Nm torque increase results.

Race driver Nicolai Sörensen became one time 2nd and one time 3rd in the Sound Of Thunder race at Assen 2006. Rest of the field have been 1000 cc engines with 155 hp and more! So this is a very good result!
