Garage impressions: 750 Bevel Roundcase Engine
October 2006
wo customers from Belgium assigned us with the reconstruction/restoration of their 750 S roundcase engines.
The engine was completely dismantled and all engine covers and the two cylinders was underwaternylon-pearl-blasted. The best method to clean this parts cause no sand or glass particles remain in the engine.
All bearings are exchanged, all waves and bevel gears etc. are again in-measured. The clutch is replaced by a modified Surflex version. All seals and gaskets are renewed, the heads are again adjusted, valves polished, rocker arms controlled and exchanged if necessary. Then the parts are cleanly polished and assembled again.
Lucs 750 engine, 60°, dry clutch, and so on.
Rudis engine.
