Ducati 996/1032 S/SPS

At all tuning stages a lighter flywheel and a big sized air filter like our Pure Tec Race Filter or No toil air filter should be installed to get a maximum performance. Also an open exhaust system is an basic thing. Original 996 has 125-128 hp. With fineadjusting the cam timing, squeezing edge and combustion chamber and/or piston reworking approx. 135-138 hp results. Open exhaust system presupposed at each variant!

Here an example for fine adjusting the cam timing and combustion chamber reworking:

    During processing of squeezing edge, combustion chamber and pistons the performance rise to approx. 135-138 hp.
    Prices:
  • approx. 485 € excl. tax for assemblies with delivered engine
  • approx. 985 € excl. tax at a complete delivered motorcycle
  • approx. 250 € for parts (seals, small material, adjusting materials)
  • approx. 150 € to 250 € excl. for the preparation and tuning of an appropriate eprom inclusive dyno stand runs.
  • Basic eprom Mega zone 129 €

    To reach over approx. 142-145 hp the above works and parts are necessary plus reworking cylinder heads with larger valves (37-31mm) and appropriate tuning. Price:
  • 1330 € for porting and material (valves 37-31 and shims) for finished adjusted and assembly-finished heads. Diagram for 142-145 hp stage see below at the example.

    To come over approx. 152-155 hp the following additionally parts areneeded:
  • Set of cam shafts Race 1225 €
  • Gasoline pressure control valve 4.5 bar 169 €
  • Light aluminium flywheel (is necessary at all variants!). Price starting from 98 €
  • Removement and replacement for flywheel cost 98 euro.

    At Race stage over 150 hp the oil pressure must be increased and the engine exhaust adapted.

    At Race engines over 150 hp the use of a large Racing water and oil cooler becomes necessary. Prices:
  • Racing water cooler 1225 €
  • Racing oil cooler 335 €
    An example of the Race stage 150-155 hp you can see in the next description at “Blaue Sau”.

    The pictures show a 996 SPS with 145 hp and 117 nm. The total weight is 178 Kg!

    This cyle is a test laboratory. Herewith we test all parts from the 916-996 versions. Primary gears, racing gear boxes, conrods, head porting versions, cams, a.so.

    We deliver 996 S/SPS engines with 145 Hp with warranty !!!
    Race engines up to 155 HP!!

    1032 ccm big bore kits are also available for this versions .
