Garage report: Tuning Monster 1000 S
Late summer 2009
Robert Andorf, customer from Ingolstadt/Germany, was not rather contented with the performance of his 1000 Monster S. Then after a few preliminary talks he brought us his optically quite unusual Monster for tuning. The programme was quickly clear:
Headporting with bigger valves
Ducati Performance cam shafts
Big Bore Kit 1078cc
K & N airfilter/open airbox
Ignijet computer and
a modified exhaust tube (by Silmotor) and
Remus Power Cone mufflers
With this changes the Monster reaches nearly 115 Hp and 111 Nm!

At the race he was the best 2 valve 2 cylinder driver. His Monster 1000 S is faster as some 4 valve bikes! Equal times as 750cc models with 140-150 PS!
